The chart work, already done.
Every stock in your universe, read every hour through the session: which ones are sitting on a trendline, near a floor or a ceiling, going quiet, or showing a candlestick shape. It finds the stocks worth opening a chart on. The decision stays yours.
What it does
One tab, one question
Pick a universe once. Every tab reads the same stocks and answers one thing about them.
What it will not tell you
A finder, not a forecast
Not a recommendation
The scans find where a decision is being made right now. The decision is yours; the site has no view on your size, your horizon or your risk.
A line says where, not which way
A trendline is a price at which people have repeatedly decided something. It is not a forecast.
Every statistic carries its sample size
Up 100% of the time with n = 2 is two coin flips. Up 64% with n = 14 is a tendency. The count is on the row.
Questions
Questions people ask first
What does pilot mean?
ScanSutra is being tested with a small group before it opens up. Things will change, and some of them will be wrong first. If a number looks wrong, tell us.
Is this investment advice?
No. ScanSutra is an analysis tool. It shows where price has repeatedly made a decision and what has usually followed a situation in that stock's own history. It does not know your position, your horizon or your risk, and it never tells you to buy or sell.
How fresh is it?
Stocks are read every hour through the session and once more after the close. Commodity and currency futures are read through the evening. Levels and patterns are rebuilt every night, the seasonal tables every week. The app bar always shows the time of the newest bar the tables reflect.
Which stocks are covered?
The Nifty 500 and the index universes inside it - Nifty 50, 100, 200, F&O and the sector indices - plus indices, ETFs, commodities and currencies. Pick the universe from the app bar.
Can I share a scan?
Every control writes to the address bar, so any scan on any tab is a link. Signed in, you can also star stocks into a watchlist.
